I had to sit through "Waiting to Exhale."
Interesting side note. I got my first lay soon afterward.![]()
I saw the Transporter 2 today and these es behind me wouldn't shut up. Couple that with the fact the movie was subpar, you would think that was it, but it wasn't.
Mine was at Fiesta 16, and I was watching Harry Potter 2. There were no seats so I had to sit in the front, and behind me there was this damn stupid lady that wouldn't shut up to her kid (why would you take a 2 year old to a movie he won't remember AND explain it to him while it's going on. She brought up plot points that didn't exist and I knew they didn't exist. Those aholes at Fiesta warned her and never showed up again. If I wasn't such a gentleman I would have turned around and asked her to shut the up, but there were alot ok kids there.

Newton's third law.
There was that time I paid $10 to go see Hannibal.
Red dragon wasn't bad though.
I wait for the dvd!
Going to the movies sucks unless you go to the drive_in!
I went on a date to see that Eastwood movie that I think is called Unforgiven, and my date fell asleep. I wasn't crazy about it either, but at least I stayed awake.
"Rocochet" with Denzel Washington and John Lithgow.
After a long day of work, I get home and my girlfriend decided that she had to go see it right then and there. So I take her. Fell asleep after about 20 minutes into the movie. Woke up at the end, went home, and went to sleep. Wake up the next day and start looking for my wallet. It's gone. Lost. I remember having it at the movie theater. It must have slipped out of my pocket when I proped my knees up on the seat in front of me. It had over 300 dollars, my drivers license, and a bunch of other important . I call the theatre and they're like "Wallet? Nope. We didn't find no Wallet." Yeah right.
So I basically paid over 300 dollars to go to a movie that I didn't even watch.
Went to see Independence day at galaxy, before the movie started some chick started screaming that there was a rat.... during the movie I put my nachos down on the floor and one of my nachos starts taking off

Left after 50 mins...only the 2nd time I ever walked on a movie.
The first time was in his ex wife's movie To Die For.
Anytime I have to watch a movie at Rivercenter.
The Grinch on Christmas Night with about 10 of my family all sleeping through it.
Recently: Closer (and I paid full price for that crap!)
Of All Time: Mimic (not only paid full price, but traded a shift at work so that I could go out that night![]()
)
Aww...Jimbo. I loved To Die For!
Hm... I've walked out of a movie (Spy Hard) and I've fallen asleep while watching a movie (Loser) but I think my worst experience was when I went to see Spiderman. This is a TRUE story.
Ok, so it was probably 2-3 weeks after Spiderman (I) was released, it was a Saturday night, about 12p.m., I had other plans but those fell through. So I'm bored at home wondering what to do. I say it, go to the Quarry and see what's playing I get there and Spiderman is about to start so I get a ticket.
I get to the seats and NO ONE is in there. I think cool. I can pick any seat I want.
I sit down about the 3rd or 4th row from the top. Right in the middle; great seat. About 5 minutes later a large group of teens come in, they look like they're 15 at most. What to know where they sit? Right IN FRONT OF ME! WTF? They have an entire auditorium to pick from and they choose the row in front of me. Ok whatever.
A few minutes later a dad and son come in. Where do they sit? And I'm not lying. Right BEHIND ME!
I couldn't believe it. The entire place is empty and people decide to pick the rows in front and behind me.
To make matters worse, the group in front of me thought it'd be " a cool" to shout stupid periodically during the previews and the movie.
I couldn't believe it.
This idiot fat guy kept talking so loud on his cellphone. I mean, come on!!! Is it really that hard to take your butt outside and talk?!
Some people...
Did you turn around and say "shut the up"? I have done that before...
At the lord of the rings final...
^Nobody said anything because he was fat and mean-looking.

Yup... I think it gave them "the eye" too.
For me it was batman begins. My brother won some free tickets from a local radio station. I had already seen it, but hey it was free what the I might as well see it.
The showing was at 7pm and I work nights so I got up at 5:30pm and figured I would grab some popcorn at the theatre because I was hungry. So we went and I waited for 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me at the food counter to help me and they just ignored me so I figured I would go later to get some food.
I get into the theater room and it is packed. For most people that isn't too big a deal but I have wider shoulders then most people I know. Basically the place is sold out(duh, free tickets) and I have my dad on the left and some other guy on my right.
Basically I have to sit with my shoulders hunched in grabbing my elbow with one of my hands to keep them in(no arm rests for me). So I decide to grab some popcorn, guess what? It's closed down. So now I have to spend the next 2+ hours uncomfortable and hungry.
Since this was a packed room we had to sit in the second row, which sucks but sucks more because it's a freakin imax theater. I had to move my head from about 70 degrees to the right to about the same on the left just to see the actors talking on screen. Half the time I couldn't tell what the was going on.
I would much rather watch a movie with my surround system and hdtv at home.
Yeah, I don't go to the cinema anymore. Usually I wait till the DVD, oh wait...nevermind I don't rent them anymore.
Torrents are beautiful.
I've had to do that before, when I went to see Willy Wonka at the IMAX with my girl. It felt like Augustus Gloop was going to eat us.![]()
When I saw the movie Mafia and Matrix Revolutions.
