You've got a point. Indiana and Portland came out super hungry at the beginning of last season. They were a great finals matchup.

I overslept and missed breakfast, so I'm kinda hungry. Fortunately, lunch is being served in half an hour.

I think I'm getting lactose intolerance. I drink milk and I feel bloated and have gas for a few hours after. I guess I have to save eating dairy products for those few times a year when I crave ice cream or milk shakes.

I came home hungry from work and my wife had made frito pie with her own chili recipe. She was also putting an apple pie in the oven...again her own recipe.

The team was hungry last year.
The best they can hope for this year is scared.
And they're well on their way to being scared.
About careers about to end. About never repeating and always having to hear that. About getting off to a slow start and having to make up ground against younger quicker teams.

And I think that's where Pop is headed. Very "appropriate" fear.
Perhaps you are correct on this one here. They look disinterested as Pop said before, like they got the 5th le and didn't realize the season started yet. They will come around, sooner or later they will be a force again.
