There is no scenario where the Spurs get Anthony Davis.
We know the Pelicans have a ty organization, an awful HC..and Perimeter guys who think they are as good as davis.

Hold his family for ransom?
He's Tim Duncan reincarnated tbh. I don't know if the Pelicans can hold on to him and if he likes the bright lights, he'll be a Laker.
I really hope we don't get him just for the sake of you not creating threads about his minutes/running plays for him/any other gotry you can come up with
For Mr. Davis, the bright lights don't like him. He be tore up ugly. Not his fault, and he can play....
His style is more KG than Duncan, disrupting things outside the paint and shooting over the top
He's going to suffer from major injuries starting next season and will never be the same.
Not talking about this year obviously...
Keep being an elite team till he becomes a free agent, have enough cap space to offer a max deal and hope that he isn't a big market attention .
I've asked this question before a few times - Does he have a low post game or any go to moves in the post? What's he like in the last 6 minutes of a game/crunch time?
For this to happen we will probably need your favourite player to come back down to Earth regarding his contract expectations, tbh.
Pelicans would convince him that family is not that important.
Dream
His stats tonight were ridiculous.
About the same chance other teams had of getting Tim Duncan early in his career. So, almost zero.
Less. Duncan was an UFA. Davis won't get there for at least 5 more seasons when Parker is Manu's age.
0% chance he is ever a Spur. Likely a Laker if he ever leaves tbh.
Well, that ' s worked for Bonner, who's bound and gagged Pop's family for 8 years and counting.
He is legit, should work on his defense though
Or he'll join LeBron to another rent a champ team within three years.
OP needs to be pinked for threads like this.
^ This.
But also, in the unlikely event that he takes his QO in order to become a UFA in the summer of 2017 coinciding with the big cap rise. His QO is north of 9 mil so it's not like he'll be taking an unimaginable risk/paycut.
Does Bonner for Davis work? just kidding. Never say never, but it's slim. It all depends though on the Pelicans franchise and if they convince him to remain loyal and play his whole NBA career with that team. Also I don't think Pop wants to coach in his late 70's, it would take Pop being coach to even probably get him.
