It's been awhile since I've seen a thread about shoes at the top. What are you guys playing ball in these days? I'm about to grab a pair of CP3 Vii's tbh.

Wanted to spring for some Jordan XX8s but I've heard the zoom air pops in them within a month.

Worth copping, especially at this time of year. Performs well (best) on wooden court and is solid when you're hooping on a tennis court/concrete surface. If you ball a lot, there's a higher chance the zoom unit will pop as you mentioned on the XX8s.

Right now it's either them or the hyperdunk 2013s, which seem better than the new ones. Also Kobe 9s in consideration. But I worry about them breaking down.

I slept on the Hypers and the latest Kobe's (Moonwalker colorway is the only intriguing one, imo). I liked how the 8s felt and the Hypers felt a little too light for my liking, plus everyone has them. Ya know?

Sure. I'd rather have a shoe that's common than something no one else has that ankle blows apart wearing though. Im a pg, so light shoes are nice for me.

Picked up some cp3s for $70. Couldn't say no considering I wanted the hyperdunks but they felt a bit large in the toe box.

I can't afford to spend 5 bucks and have my ankle blow apart because I land wrong.

Good choice. I dig how those look. I've never played or wore any CP3's, but I'm a big fan of Jordans as a whole.
