What do you expect from one of CNN's leftist attack dogs?
Did anyone hear him say:
"These people are so poor and are so black."
Seriously... WTF?

You think that statement is wrong?
Is the color of their skin worth noting?
If this was Beverly Hills, would he say:
"These people are so wealthy and are so white."
No.
If you don't see anything wrong, you're a moron
Without the context of the statement, it's hard to really have any kind of opinion about it.
They were showing a lot of refugees on the screen and that's what he said.
No other context.
Why skin color was brought up, is just... mind boggling.
That's pretty much what I was thinking. Sounds to me like he might have been trying to garner some sympathy but the words just didn't come out right. Still, I'm watching the T.V. now and 99.9% of what I'm seeing is poor Black people. Like it or not, he's reporting the facts.
I find it very hard to believe that he would just make that statement without it being linked to some related discussion about race.
But I didn't see it.
maybe so Ice but what is "so black"?
I think it could have been worded different. It was just a mistake, I imagine.
Wolf needs to put a sock in it!
I agree it was really unnecessary to say something like that. I guess he just didn't know how to phrase that properly. Maybe he meant to say that the majority were black.
Hey! he got you all talking, isn't that what the networks want?

He was pointing out that all the refugess are black and poor and trying to discuss the class and racial implication of that...
There is merit to line of thinking...but he must have never been to ing New Orleans though....New Orleans has a huge Black Population...they are easily the majority in the city, it makes sense that refugees would represent that.
Yep. Probably just a mistake. No big deal to me.
I think that may have been where he was going.Maybe he meant to say that the majority were black.
I've got no problem with those that are stuck and are "borrowing" some food, water, and other necessites to survive. I'd be doing the same damn thing if I were stranded next to a damn Wal-Mart. But if there really are people who are breaking into abandoned homes and stealing tv's n' , those people just need to be shot on sight.
There are people hi-jacking cars and shooting at the ambulances and helicopters....
The looting and lawlessness is forcing the police and military to focus on maintaining order rather than rescuing people...
A media outlet trying to find/create controversy? Say it isn't so.
Why would people shoot at ambulances and helicopters? I haven't heard any of that on the news.
20 bucks and I will make you a copy of my 600 photoshop

Thought I'd use this thread to express how much I hate Shepherd Smith.
He blows.
There, I feel better.
