Without the best Player and best playmaker, this game is going to be tough...Not to mention the fact that the wizards just got blown out by the Hawks..expect them to play motivated basketball.
Spurs Injury Report 1/12/15
Posted: Jan 12, 2015
Please be advised of the following injuries for Tuesday's game at Washington:
Marco Belinelli (mild strain, left groin) - Questionable
Manu Ginobili (back spasms) - Probable
Kawhi Leonard (bruised right hand) - Out
Probable is better than out. Doesn't sound like Manu's injury is serious.
Thanks ace!![]()
Leonard will most likely play his return game around the 20th of January...
I hope Manu sits. He needs lots of rest after the carrying him and Tim did.
You think there's a chance we can copy that 19-W streak last season?
Tough.
Just WIN Spurs!![]()
Wizards aren't that great tbh. On the 2nd night of a B2B I don't really fear them. Although last game we did have MVCory against Wall, and this time we got Tony "7PTS 1 AST 5 TO" Parker starting. Green vs. Beal is always fun to watch cause you can tell they know they are competing versions of the same type of player. Like when Bonner goes against Steve Novak it's as if his life depended on the game. Nene vs. Tiago is fun, two Brazilians trying to show each other up. Tim should dominate the Polack and whoever we trot out at SF will be hungry to show up Paul Pierce's decrepit corpse. I think the Wizards are 1-2 solid bench pieces away from contending in the East. Otto Porter still can't do anything, Dr. Miller can barely play more than 15 minutes these days, and Kardashian is good but if his midrange jumper isn't falling (like it was last time against us) he's just a warm body.
Spurs by ~8 IMO unless TP goes full re .
Will probably feel like an home game with the huge amount of Spurs fans in DC per usual. Hopefully it be a good game like last years.
Neither team played last night so there were no back to backs.
Go Spurs. I hope they can maintain the pressure this time and not lose the lead.
Anyone here going to the game? I'll be in section 229.
Given Ginobili's status, I would kind of expect that he will suit up, and if we have to have him to win, Pop will put him in...otherwise rest.
President Diaw predicts Spurs win by 12!

Yep. Upper deck mother ers!
Yet another loss with future HOF'er SloMo sitting on the bench...Thanks Pop.
I really do want somebody to put a huge glass of wine in his hands in that picture!
Scheduled loss imo. Wiz will be extremely motivated to get it done while the Spurs sleepwalk.
