While Duncan's efficiency is impressive at his age, the "1st player 38 and older to score 26-10 in less than or equal to 35 minutes" is a bit of a cherry pick. Although the time spent does make it more impressive in an efficiency sense, playing a lot of minutes at that age and being effective is impressive too.

If you get rid of the 35 minute limit, and ignore the "since Hakeem," the list is essentially the following:

    Duncan(2)
    MJ(7)
    Karl Malone (20!)
    Kareem(4)
    Hakeem(2)
    Parish(3)
    Grant Hill(2)

Exactly. Imagine if you replaced Parker with Stockon. Even now, Duncan would be putting these numbers up nightly if that was the case. The Jazz also had Hornacek feeding Malone the ball as well.

Just look at Malone's numbers once he joined the Lakers. His ppg total nearly dropped by 8 ppg. Why? because he was with a ball hogging player in Kobe and he no longer played with a PG that had the vision and passing ability of Stockton. Kinda of sums up Duncan's situation with Parker.
