Love is a nice fit as a #2 guy on a good team, tbh, despite the negative attention he has received due to his inability to translate to a #3 role(which is nearly impossible for a player of his caliber, Bosh was an anomaly)..
Being a defensive liability hasn't stopped many star players from having productive careers on top-level teams..
I don't agree with Morey and his star chasing, but his real target is Durant in 2016.

Suns knew that Love and likely Dragic are going to LA in offseason which is why they traded a soon-to-be-devalued Lakers 1st for Knight.

I'm going to wait to see this offseason play out before criticizing. Knight holds more value in Sign-n-Trade will than a diminished LA 1st would, and Sacramento was said to be looking for a PG like Dragic, so maybe their plan is Knight as part of a package for Cousins.
