WE can get something for Parker tho
Everybody questioned the Pistons' energy..
Monroe looked terrible and disinterested, didn't want to be in Detroit anymore..
Drummond was being called a bust and having his development stunted..
Van Gundy made a bold decision, he had to perform chemotherapy on his team..following the radiation and eradication of the disease, this team with limited talent has played really well and above their heads, constant energy and joy..
Swallow your pride, Pop..
WE can get something for Parker tho
"Danny and Tiago to the bench. Tony Marco Baynes get in there."
The "Pop treats everybody equally" line is one of the biggest myths among non-Spurs fans, tbh..
Kiss of death was when Pop said this team goes nowhere without Enrique.
Suddenly, the Spurs are a lot worse than ever this season.
Shut him down for the season. Heroballer's like TP have their pride so use a fake injury like Kobe does. Team play will improve most likely.
I kind of miss the December team that went through the most difficult schedule in NBA history, tbh..they were mediocre, but it was fun watching Duncan/Manu/Green/Joseph carrying the team..
Stretch Provision
Would have 7 years to pay off his contract. Would only cost us $6.1 million per.
Yep, an undermanned team gave a load more effort than this full squad. I wonder why.![]()
sixers probably woulda taken parker if we gave them a first... that's been their MO
can't believe TP already has negative equity and his extension hasn't even kicked in yet![]()
2014-2015 3-point %:
Kawhi Leonard - 32.8%
Josh Smith w/ Houston - 36.3%
Just wait til he gives it his all for France in the summer. Then....you will know pain.
Seriously though, bad contracts, usually only get traded for bad contracts.
Does it really count as "undermanned" when all you were missing was a cancer?
So Malik wants to get rid of Kawhi?
Wow.
Parker was one of the worst players in last year's playoffs, it was largely ignored because of how hot the rest of the team was + Manu playing lights out as a playmaker..
The 2014 Spurs were better when Parker was on the bench in the playoffs, statistically..
This is a progressive decline, it isn't sudden..
Manu: looked great in November/December, has went downhill since Parker returned
Green: was having a career year until Parker returned, now he cannot make a shot to save his life
Joseph: career year, gets benched when Parker returns
Leonard: Finals MVP, did most of his damage in last year's playoffs with Parker on the bench, looks unhappy playing with Parker now
Well maybe the other guys should swallow their pride and learn to play with Parker? Don't be a and stop trying just because of one player.
Have you guys ever played basketball with a ty player that takes a lot of shots, tbh? Its extremely demoralizing and discouraging..
You feel helpless and become lazy..
Kawhi and MVPatty were out too. But I half agree.![]()
You just described every Lakers game the past few years. Sad that the same is killing the Spurs too.
So true.
Same excuses, too, sadly..
Yep, all those times Spurs fans ridiculed Laker fans for their franchise killer and we have one of our own now.![]()
You're kidding, but they played their asses off...
