CLUTCH AF BOAAAAAAAAA
This team goes as far as MVParker
CLUTCH AF BOAAAAAAAAA
Well, except in the playoffs, where they were statistically better when he was on the bench last year..
hopefully this newfound 3 point shot can stick around
If he develops a 3pt shot he can play for 10 more years.
Ya, Parker with a 3-point shot would be massive, obviously..
I don't think he's necessarily on the decline, he was just poor due to fatigue in last year's playoffs..
he was great tonight, tbh...
mhm. the summer off can only do good for him, as long as he avoids nagging injuries down the stretch. its just 1 game but at least Duncan still looks like he has gas
It ain't doing it for me baby. Come harder next time. Pause.
Parker and Diaw should both up their attempts from 3. Both are low volume high percentage 3pt shooters. Parker only attempted 68 of them last year and made 37% of them, Diaw shot 40%.
Parker is on pace for 328/328 3pointers![]()
well, i think Parker has been high% as a result of his low volume. he's been incredibly selective with his 3 point shooting, only taking them when they're wide open from the corner. he looked pretty good today
Parker suckers ing over a REGULAR SEASON game
playoff Parker
lefty Spurs fan
When is the last time Parker played a decent game in the conference finals or finals?
2007?
Manu s crawling out like roaches
. Works every time

Goddamn. They both played a good game.. can't we just leave it at that? Why does it always have to turn into who had the better career.. good game for both. Now shut up.
I guess the main reason for the "beautiful Spurs basketball" played in the WCF and the Finals was Parker and his injuries. With Tony in his peak the offense obviously changes, the team tend to go iso more than an effective team oriented offense.
That isn't necessary bad, when nothing works you need that player who can change the game with one play as Parker.
But I still prefer to win finding offensive answers as a team than an individual talent. I think this is the more sustainable way in a long season.
Actually, the 20 turnovers plus the absence of two starters had more to do with how the offense ran tonight than any comparison involving Tony now, then, or whenever. The team looked bumpy because of all these reasons:
Both Parker and Manu had super games. Duncan and Diaw, not so much. That was impacted fairly seriously by the presence of Tyson Chandler and Dirk Nowitzki. With Splitter and Kawhi back, Duncan and Diaw will look a lot better.
Parker only had one of the 20 team turnovers tonight. Duncan and Diaw combined for about half of them. THAT is what impacted the relative lack of 'beautiful basketball'.
