It's one game. Danny is fine.
Do you guys think pop will let danny play through his shooting slump or will he continue to have a short leash? Because i think this can mess with his confidence and were going to need not only his shooting but his defense to advance in this series, so he might as well let him shoot his way out of it. Do you guys think danny has earned that? because i do we go to another level when he on and i hope pop don't bench him like he did with okc a couple years ago, thoughts.
Not worried about Danny. I've seen him go from cold to hot instantly. He just needs to get some open shots. The Clippers were covering him pretty good. He's got to hit that inbetween shot, though. He won't have success against Jordan at the rim, and the Clippers will chase him off the three point line, so the midrange is the key (it's why Bellineli shot well).
He has been one of the best role players in playoffs history the past 2 years, it would be pretty stupid if he had a short leash based on a bad game or 2..
Danny green played like a last night. Missing open shots fine. Acting like a on defense inexcusable
This started against Houston when he missed like 7 open threes.. If he's not hitting then he better not be horrible on the other end as he was last night
He's got plenty of confidence in that stupid floater.
He has trouble when run off the line.
Green has improved with the dribble drive but Jordan clearly got in his head.
Danny Green is the whipping boy... If he sneezes wrong he's on the bench
There's a reason his nickname is "Icy Hot." He'll get it going at some point.
He just have to remind Danny that he got his job in San Antonio fo his defense and NOT fo his 3pt shooting.
If he plays well on defense it matters a lot less how bad he does on offense.
Personally i think Danny might been under the impression that he deserves a bigger role than being a d and 3 guy.
Hoppfully this last couple of games remind him how he can get payed in this league.
He`s doing the reverse 2013 Finals. Ice cold to start the series, hotter than prime Salma Hayek to end it.
Not worried about Danny unless his bad shooting continues into Game 3. If I were Pop I'd have Kawhi post up with Danny in the corner waiting for when Kawhi gets doubled.
