They should rescind the Jax tech in '12
The NBA rescinded Westbrook's technical and he's eligible to play.
thunderefs
Ah. So the real rule is: 16 technicals is a suspension UNLESS you're a superstar and it would have a real impact on your team's season.
Got it.
As I said upstairs, it was an easy call and the correct call, tbh..
I watch most of Russ's game, he gets targeted by refs, it's ridiculous..quick trigger on the Ts, too..
OP is a got. Westbrook didn't deserve to be T'd up in the first place.
Marketing, money, & exposure will always outweigh rules. That's true for any successful business.
You're the kind of dude who would literally volunteer for prison duty immediately upon incarceration
Shouldn't matter to you.
Finish it.
Traitor
I said I wouldn't grudge it. And I won't.
Finish it.
They're not ready to finish it. Defense isn't tough enough. It showed last night losing.
^So, you got the key, but, you ain't got what it takes to lock the door...
Get your shine brush & come on.
I watched the replay and assumed he was given the tech for language. But you couldn't hear him in the replay. I guess if it's just him wining it's ok to rescind.
I just assumed that the white ref was more credible than the black player and the league would back him up. Honestly Westbrook is lucky the ref didn't have a gun. I've seen this type of happen in the real world and it usually turns out pretty bad.
They should make up their ing mind it's a rule or it's not? And it was never the point of whether he deserved the T, the point was we all knew it would be taken back.
Subtle, NBA. Subtle.
Btw congrats Russ on taking 43 shots in a loss![]()
If Durant leaves the team after next year, we can watch him, Westbrook, and Harden all try to win the scoring le on different teams while not winning championships. That would be fun.
Do the guests rest their starters tonight? They aren't playing for anything. The spread is currently OKC by 8.5, so my guess is yes.
League's way of trying to draw attention to a meaningless game. It doesn't matter if Russ plays or not, if OKC makes the playoffs or not. The League wants you to think it does, like it's the premier story in a season where the eventual story will likely be Tim Duncan and Lebron James, again. Even GS isn't a sweetheart of the league/media. They love heroics though.
Here's to Russ blowing a gasket on the last turn.![]()
For all of his overreactions that get no techs, I was fine with it
