Kawhi is easily averaging 25 when the whole other ing team is game planning against this guy. All he needed were touches and slight boost to minutes.
I could see 30ppg in the RS.
I think he's still two years away from true greatness. He needs to pay a full game, and he needs to start making his teammates open shots. Everything is there for him now except the personnel and scheme.
He's improved as a play maker. He had to 2 nice plays that got Duncan layups. He drew the defenses attention and make the correct pass to Duncan.

But seriously I expect him to post something like 19ppg, 7.7 rpg, 2.4 SPG, 3 APG, & 1 BPG next season without Duncan.
I think he maxes out around 23.5 per game which is top 10 scoring.

I should be ashamed for being concerned whether he could get that % up this time.

His true shooting percentage is the highest among all players in the playoffs (among those who play at least 32 min/game). The Spurs offense should be going through him every time down the floor. In game 4, there were numerous times in the 3rd and 4th quarter where he didn't even touch the ball. I don't know what the Popovich is thinking.
It was even more puzzling, because he was making great passes, too, as somebody said earlier in this thread..he wasn't being a black hole..
At this point, he's probably the 2nd best playmaker on the team after Ginobili(when he's in the right mindset, of course

It's not Kawhi's nature but imagine if he goes into the offseason and lays the cards out on the table to RC, "Look I'll sign whatever you put in front of me on one condition, the offense goes through me"
Yeah I don't see that happening. The spurs will play him more minutes though just because he is getting paid the most out of everyone. It would also be natural for the team to run through him. Its amazing what he does knowing full well they are playing 4 on 5 every game.
