Incredible what the 4th GOAT has accomplished with so little help. got Kiwi missed all his 4th quarter daggers, per par.

And as I type this, hits two clutch FTs where Kiwi, Parker, Manu, etc would've split.

Sad that we could never pair Duncan with a true 2nd option superstar. Easily would've had 7 les.

    Leonard its still developing tbh..

He's yet not controlled his jitters in moments like these.

Duncan has been let down by more than him though. Where is Manu? Parker? me, they have regressed so badly.

Leonard will be in the Spurfan doghouse right now. And it's deserved. I don't care how young he is, you don't get outplayed by Matt in' Barnes twice in row in closeout games. Eternally grateful to Leonard for last year's run, but it's a new season now and he failed to deliver.

I told all of you Leonard isn't what you think he is. He's a great defender, made leaps and bounds on offense as well, but mentally he's porridge.

to say whether kawhi couldve done more in this series, his done more with duncan in this series, arent both these players avg 20ppg for this series?

cant do when enrique is going 4 possessions bricking

even if kawhi scores 10 straight points, pop would sub him to cool the hot hand, or some jealous kent wont pass it to him

look at what happen to green this game, dude was scoring well, then enrique had to come in to remind everyone its his team

D-Rob was a legit second option on the first le team. That said, Duncan has turned San Antonio from a place no one would consider going as a free agent to one of the premiere destinations in the sport.

    And he should.

He's not peaked yet. Guy has way more room to grow.

Someone should teach him fearlesness though. He tends to shrivel in tight spots.

Also, Spurs will have to get some new blood in there. Manu, Parker are done. Maybe even Duncan.

If they come back with the same roster next year, its a wrap.

Manu was never a superstar player. He had some nice playoff runs ('05 and last season) but has sank us probably more than he's won for us. And Parker?

    "Big 3."

More like Big 1.5. The .5 being Manu when he's not choking and delivers.

Don't know if Manu and Parker are/were/could have been superstars, don't know if Leonard will ever get to be a superstar. All I know is that all of these guys made crucial contributions to our multiple championships and they don't deserve to be disrespected on these pussy-emo threads.

You're being too harsh. He's like 23 years old.

Retooling around him is the only way. Trust me.

Duncan and Manu will retire most than likely so he's your only hope at even contending for a playoff spot. Tony is not your man for that.

Spurs are in an ugly situation right now.

Sounds like you're the one emo-ing. I'm just stating facts. Duncan's cohorts have been wildly inconsistent through the "Big 3" era. For every contribution (and I appreciate those) there's been an equal or more amount of chokes and underwhelming performances. Duncan has had his crimes as well (he was poor offensively in '05 against Detroit), but 8 times out of 10, he'll deliver a superstar performance in a key playoff game or series. And here we have the DPOY and reigning Finals MVP, and he gets outplayed by Matt Barnes while Duncan is putting up 27 and 11 against players young enough to be his sons.

Duncan is responsible for '13, Midst. He let Amy & Bats get the better of him.

No, you are the bipolar emo here. Next season when we get far again and Leonard kills it you will be making thread about him and calling him a top 10 player in the league.

Manu fans just get extra touchy when you say anything negative about him.

I'm a big Manu fan but his good days have been behind him since...oh 2005ish.

I seriously do not want to see him back as a Spurs next year. He's more of a hindrance at this stage in his career.

Good run, Manu. But you gotta go.

Nope. Duncan put up 25 and 14 on the road in that game 7. Parker was 3-13 and Danny Green was 1-12.

Have your fun, though. You love reducing everything down to singular moments.
