Does this sound like a man that should represent the NBA as a player? I think not

TOSB Duncan has been a role player for years imho. He's no longer a player that represents the NBA now, where monkeyball and heroball are most idolized and endorsed rather than team ball.

He has no choice... at this point the league is doing him a favor.

Reporter: How long will you continue to play?

Jim: Till the wheels fall off.

Little did we know he knew he was flat broke at the time.

That's it in a nuts . Tim's got nary other choice but to keep toiling. He wants to get that $25 million back. The most convenient way it to stay in the NBA, and sell a lot of in the San Antonio metro area...then keep a running count. In 3-5 years,,,if he doesn't it up again, he'll be like even.

Even? Amy took half. Let's say she was never employed; she probably spent about 15 during their marriage. His BFF Mark Scott probably milked another 15. The 5'5 Mexican gym trainer took 5. Then you have the 25 lost to investments. Let's say Jimmy himself spent 25 over the course of his career. He's got no endorsements, nobody wants to market his got ass. Jimmy probably got a loan from Popovich, maybe 5-10 mil is owed. If my math is right, he should have about 15 grand in the bank, plus an extra 500 bucks from the 3-point shot bet with his buddy. He's going to need to play another 10 years or so to get that money back.

It would be a smart move on his part. Kareem was ed in the same manner. I expect Jim to all of a sudden sell out and become more sociable. He'll have some speaking engagements waiting on him if he learns to smile and eat at the same time. If Lawrence Taylor did so can Jim. That woman. I know he regrets her ass... and those kids. He was in Vegas doing the skydiving simulator and no kids in sight... nor the fake girlfriend.

Don't forget Amy and Mark are getting a piece of Jimmy's salary from here on out, maybe 1/4 each. Plus, the mexican gangsters he owes some money to. I don't think a kick starter is enough.

The signs were all there that he's a poor mother er

I just didn't know that most of us here are earning more money in 2 months than what this guy currently has in the bank.

Yeah... but a Kick Starter would at least get this a decent meal and support his paint ball and Dungeon and Dragons hobbies.

I think he should ask for 20m+ for a year. Why? Because he's one of the best big men in the game, not an ornament. There's no reason he should take low pay to play another year at that level.

He's keeping San Antonia afloat, once he's gone all that city has is the Alamo which is just a tribute to a humiliating defeat misrepresented by propaganda.

if I were a Kirbystan, I wouldn't want Tim to keep playing either, tbh... Champ & All-NBA at 38... while Cancer is 36 and has been unofficially retired for two seasons already...
