How's that. The injury takes 6 month's to heal. Then he has to get back into game shape. He could play, but Sixers are tanking again next year and will be a top 5 lottery team next year if not the #1 pick.

At least he's not being paid only $2 million less than Tim+Manu+Tony+Kawhi+Larry though.
& one could not have talked them out of it with a gun.
76ers are idiots. Why did they pick up Embiid when they have Noel? They tanked last year for no reason..
No. The Sixers are building a Dynasty
2012 = Babysitting Bynum after trading for him
2013 = Babysitting Noel after drafting him
2014 = Babysitting Embiid after drafting him
, might as well sit Noel and Carter-Williams too. Make sure they get another top 3 pick next year.
a big man with a foot injury? yeah i would sit him for the year too
Not news, he wasn't going to play. Just waiting for Nerlens to go down this year too with a bad foot, ankle or knee.
Still better picks than Anthony Bennett. LOL Cavs
he has a nice core, barring anymore injuries. building through the draft spurs style

Blake Griffin missed rookie season. Turned out fine.
Major injury does not always mean bust.
Noel and Joel......if they're together at their peak...its going to be scary. Lets see.
He does..lame foot

Sources: Philadelphia's Joel Embiid, who lost rookie year to injury, has setback on left foot healing, must sit out thru further evaluation.

Wow, that's horrible. Oden 2.0.
I heard he has poor work ethic as well.
That franchise is like Portland x 10^-2.
Probably won't play a full season in the NBA.
Embiid also had back issues in high school and college.
