LA ain't coming to SA my man. He'll be a Mav, tbh.
Just for fun, try to guess the starting five for next season or pick a starting five that you would like to see. Give a scenario if you can.
My guess
Tony Parker
Danny Green
Kawhi Leonard
Tim Duncan
Tiago Splitter
My Pick
Tony Parker
Rashad Vaughn
Kawhi Leonard
LaMarcus Aldridge
Tim Duncan
Spurs trade Splitter to clear cap room, Pick Vaughn and let Green walk. They sign Aldridge. I also wouldn't mind Hunter or even Tokoto if it's just a role to be filled.

I've heard different from someone who actually has known a thing or two in the past.
By all means, enlighten the ST followers.

I know a friend who has been more right than wrong in the past.
From what I've been told is that Aldridge is still extremely intrigued by SA, and vice versa but will listen to Dallas and of course Portland's offer, but the vibe is that he will leave.
As of two weeks ago, I've heard that his list was:
1.San Antonio
2.Houston
3.Dallas
if he decides to leave Portland.
Nice - that at least jives with the most credible reports on the matter. I do think SA has a great shot at LA if they want him.

I agree. I think the Spurs will show him the money but lets see if they show him the money he wants as the Spurs really want to try to retain Green also. Don't be surprised if Pop, RC, and Holt are the first ones knocking on his door at midnight, and a helicopter is being flown above the Spurs practice facility and tv crews are at the airport within a week of free agency showing Aldridge is in town.

I hope you're right. Everything that's been reported in the past two weeks has said Dallas is the favorite though, and where there's smoke, there's usually fire.
In matters involving the Spurs, when was the last time there was fire where there was smoke?
I trust legit publications over "someone" tbh. Not getting caught up in another tspence.

As a Restricted Free Agent the Spurs would have to agree.
Splitter doesn't look worried about transfers. He is doing some clinics, travelling in a Volkswagen Bus. Just hope he doesn't get injured driving that or get tetanus bruising himself.

Thanks for this. It's also important to note his son lives in SA too. I don't get why some people are so quick to dismiss Aldridge being interested in the Spurs just because we've been rejected so many times in the past by other big name players.
