LDN tbh.
Who do you think will get their number retired after TP and Manu? LaMarcus Aldridge? Kawhi Leonard? Demar DeRosan? Dejounte Murray? Matt Bonner? It could be awhile...
I think it will be a while before a number is retired. Pop will get some kind of honor once he is done.
Agree. He deserves it
I would easily take the field over LDN. I doubt he is coming back again as a player. I’d still rank him below Bowen/Elliott.
Someone not currently on this team. Maybe of DeRozan plays out two full contracts here it's possible. But I'm guessing it'll be a long while.
Jersey retirements should only be for the elite of the elite imo. That’s why I don’t like guys like Avery and Johnny Moore up there. Should be reserved for the HoFers like the Duncan, Robinson, Gervin, Manu, & Parker tbh.
Would like to see that happen.
14 or 4
Would be absolute bull if it is LMA. Although with Avery Johnson having his jersey retired anything is possible.
He was at his best wearing 4. I always felt that adding the 1 to his jersey threw him ever so slightly off balance, and ruined his shot.
Kawhis jersey is gonna be retired.
One of the very few players with multiple retired jerseys
Spurs won't do it. If he's in Toronto only a year, they won't do it. If he goes to Lakers, he'll be in Lebron shadow so much and plus they only retire HoF numbers so they won't do it. Wow, I don't think any team will do it![]()
Kawhi is retired..
No one. Kawhi had an impact on the Spurs, but at the same time, he wasn't here long enough to qualify IMO. Until someone new comes in and takes the team by the horns, I would say no one on the roster.
LMA will get a ring or two with DDR and the young core, so LMA, DDR, Murray, Walker
Nobody, also I find funny how some posters feel that DG should get his jersey retired, what a scrub.
Definitely LMA after signing that big extension. He will be a franchise player for the next 2-4 years and be an important cog to the transition to the younger guys.
If he comes back hes got a good chance
