    That's an accurate statement.

With so many Finals losses and only 2 rings, Lebeta should aim to surpass Pippen since surpassing MJ is a pipe dream at this point.

I take Pippen over Roids 9 out of 10 times IMO

Sure Roids is a bit better but too many distractions for a true championship franchise.

In terms of the type of game, yes.

Lebron obviously can do everything better than Pippen on the offensive side of things, and Pippen was much better defensively, especially when you factor in the fact that Pippen plays consistently defense for the duration of the year instead of bursts.

The way they rebound, play the passing lanes, direct the offense and pass are very similar. Lebron is a much better creator on offense though.

Not an inaccurate statement. Being in a more skilled era Pippen's offensive game was more polished and less ball dominant.

And Pippen never led his team to a Game 6 in the finals proved the other half.

25 feet from the hoop, Amb. Don't you know it's indefensible.

If you're building an all-time team, it's tough to take Lebron over Pippen in their prime.

Though when you have Media screamin' in your ear 24/7 it's hard to think straight. And they know it.

Christ, the FCC probably lifted the subliminal cuts law to accommodate this big shot.

He signed on the dotted line knowing full well he would be scrutinized and patronized 24/7. The Media means nothing to Lebron; it's simply a tool for him.

And Pippen was sitting on the bench 45 feet away from the hoop. That is even more indefensible.

Im with amb on this. Lebron can do it but has never shown consistent defense on Pip's level. Also Pippen even in his MVP caliver season was never as good as James on that end maybe a better 3 point shooter but that's it. and as good as a creator Pippen is Lebron has Magic/Birdesque type vision and passing skills.

I wonder why Pippen is always injecting himself in these type of covos? I get he was probably asked but last year it was the MJ vs LeBron stuff ...I appreciate honesty ...but for those that about MJ or Magic when they talk hoops Pipp seems to enjoy this every Finals. Great player overrated by plenty underrated by many more ... but this is Lebron's time, not his.
