So ridiculous. I just don't understand how a team with such limited assets can get DMC. The 2nd pick is great and Okafor may be very good, but that shouldn't be enough and Clarkson/Randle aren't anything special at all. Should have very little value.

Okafor will be a better pro than Cousins. That's a good deal straight-up, and anything additional is gravy.

This Cousins thing is all about the NBA's want for the Lakers to be relevant again. It's a bunch of dirty politics, tbh.
Cousins will be Dwight Howard 2.0 in the hands of Kobe Bryant.
He is exactly the kind of player Kobe can't stand -- big, laid back (on the court), lacking killer instinct, happy go lucky, not a hard worker . . .
Boogie's already shaky head will be spinning into the rafters.
The only difference between him and Shaq and Dwight is that Boogie might clock Kobe after practice and not think a thing about it.

What's hilarious is LA acting like including Randle/Clarkson is some laughable request. That is bad offer even with the 2nd pick there. , the 2nd pick is better by itself.
LA better not get DMC for just the 2nd pick essentially. They literally have no other assets that people should find valuable. There are so many better options. Why not the 3rd pick plus a player like Embiid or Noel? Why not the 1st pick and a player like Pek? So many better options.

The #2 pick in this draft is incredibly valuable. And the Kings have been dealing with Boogie's shenanigans for too long. I don't care what the dumbass gives you on the court, you have the chance to draft a franchise player at #2 that isn't a whiny immature baby. Okafor or Russell...either is better long term than Boogie. , even Mudiay could develop into a better player long-term.
