Yeah. Better get your jabs in now while you still can. Lord knows you won't be getting too many more chances. Especially when the Eagles rise to the top of the NFC again this year.

What you had last night was the Eagles at their worst and the Falcons at their best and they still couldn't put the Eagles away. Reminds me of the start they had a couple seasons ago when the Eagles started off at 0-3 (?). It took Coach Reid a few weeks to work out all the kinks, but once he did, it was lights out for the rest of the NFC.

So by all means, pile on now while you still can. It will only make it that much more sweeter when the Eagles are pounding the rest of the NFC a couple of months from now.

We flat out sucked. No excuses, the Eagles played a very ty game.

Let's start here: Trotter shouldn't have gotten involved into a fight, even though he shouldn't have been ejected because he didn't throw a punch, he just shoved him away to defend himself. Trotter is a beast at stopping the run at the MLB position. Warrick Dunn, the 180 lb. RB ran all over our asses, as well as Michael Vick. Also, our ing offensive line had like 6 penalties, they were incredibly stupid, whether it was holding, false start, and Tra Thomas got 2 penalties himself on illegal formation. How do you do that twice? Also, on a lot of important plays, McNabb would throw the pall at the receivers' feet everytime, and he tends to do that a lot from what I've noticed over the years. He guns it at their feet. He also fumbled the ball at least twice, and threw a terrible pass to Westbrook was considered a fumble, not an incomplete pass. He fumbled it like twice because he stays in the pocket so damn long, and not once did he run with the ball. He should have tucked it away and picked up some first downs. We should have had AT LEAST 1 more TD.
Also, David Akers was not himself on Monday. He missed 2 field goals, and if they had gone in, we would have won. That rarely happens.

Basically, the game was really ty and hard to watch.

But look at the rest of the Eagles schedule, and yes that does include playing Dallas twice.
They have no excuse to not win every single game besides the won they just lost if everyone is healthy.

Eagles will win always start of slow, McNabb took a bad shot to the chest that affected him the rest of the game and made some bone head plays, forced too much to TO and threw lots of dirtballs, and bad play calling by Reid, but it will get fixed.

You can talk now, but our defensive is going to be scary good I almost feel bad for Bledsoe I wonder how many times he will get sacked?

There is the key right there....McNabb, according to ESPN this morning, may be held out of practice this week. If he can't go this weekend, they should still beat SF but how long will it linger? Personally I could give a about TO but I like Donovan McNabb, IMO if he is healthy, he is an MVP candidate. The rest of the team looked flat. To follow Nick's example of adding irrelevancy by bringing other teams into an Eagles thread...and at least this fact is relevant....its only game 1 of a 16 game schedule and three teams have gone 0-2 and still gone to the SB. So even if they slip against SF...which I don't think they will...they still are the best team in a weak division.
