You'll have to settle for this, maybe:
Garnett starting at PF and C; not bad.
I didn't start following the NBA until 2002, so I missed out on the opportunity to see KG and Timmy go at it with playoff repercussions. Anyone know where to find clips, etc.? Youtube has nothing from that series.

45:25 to see KG barking at TD and smacking the back of his head when he's trying to be a peacekeeper.
I also was looking for some old videos lately of the 1998 Utah series, as i only become a fan in 1999 playoff when i first saw Duncan play and never saw those 1998 footages before... Man those two first games was tough loses, we should have won both, especially game 2 overtime lose was a chock job and sad to say Duncan get a blame with missed free throw and some bad defense at the end... the series could have look differently, should it been us in the 1998 finals against the bulls? Maybe it was for better as we saw how the refs were in those finals...
Nah man, Spurs werent ready yet imo.
Thanks! Timmy had a rough offensive game, but he completely shut KG down. Great to see David dominating in the 4th.
I managed to come across this too. What a battle...it really is a shame that nobody seems to have footage of that 2001 series.
Damn I used to have two games of that 01 series, including Game 1 when Tim did this really re ed dance after sticking the game icing shot off the glass right in Garnett's face. And then my 2TB WD Black died with no warning, no SMART errors or anything before. With SportScene dead now the only resource to get those is probably going to be the NBA when they finish their archiving project and start streaming the old games for a fee.
The series I'd really like to get are the 99 and 03 series vs LA. I have Game 1 of the 99 series when Jerome Kersey hits about a 30 footer at the end of the first quarter, but it's in ing Chinese. Then I have Games 2, 5, and 6 of the 03 series, but the quality for Games 2 and 5 is really awful. Game 6 is a beauty though.
Here's a good one:
Kevin Willis hit a 50 footer at the end of the half in game 1 against the Lakers in 2003
I remember that...
The front-court trio of DRob, Timmy and Elliott was just unbeatable..
True -- except in 1998, 2000, and 2001.![]()
Garnett is a got, always has been. Can't believe some people on here actually wanted him as a Spur a couple years ago.
just wait for this years playoffs.
Dean Garrett started at center.
.
Yea, I saw that as I was watching. Didn't bother to go back and see if they listed Garnett twice or if I misread it, though.
Not 2000 given that Duncan was injured. That's not to say the Spurs would have won it all.
