I wouldn't be so quick to blast Miami for not having won a le. Their franchise only came into existence in 1988, so they've only played 17 seasons to this point. Gosh, what a surprise that they haven't won anything!!

You might recall that after 17 seasons of existence, the Spurs trophy case looked pretty much the same way.

You want to blame someone for Miami and Laker spin?

Blame Duncan and a boring Spurs Marketing Team.

The Spurs are the best on the court, which is great, but they don't rank on the scale in the marketing dept.

Meanwhile, money is being spent on multiyear endorsement contracts for average players and Duncan is walking away with HEB and Gunn auto cash. ing stupid if you ask me. Basketball careers don't last long for most, so if you got game, you ought to use it to pad the portfolio a little more.

Same thing went for David Robinson. That bank account would've been nicer with a 100 million in endorsements vs. the 10-15 mill he made.

I know Duncan and Robinson ain't hurtin for cash, but as each day goes by and the shyness continues, more and more money is being spent on others.

Barkley never won in the NBA, but he marketed himself, he talked alot of and now he has the top rated sports talk show on TV.

Shaq has won championships, if we wants to say Dampier is a WNBA player, than he probably is a WNBA player.
