In assessing how he'll mesh with Aldridge, Duncan says, "I'm not worried about him benefiting my game; I'm going to worry about me benefiting his. I'm going to let him do his thing and just see where I can fit in and help. I'm going to ride his coattails and I'm going to push him."
So LMA is going to be Timmy's Gasol just like Kobe wanted.

Difference is Timmy actually acknowledges it.

Um, can you read? Kobe would NEVER say he would ride coattails. Gasol was his coattail rider, in his mind.

... I know that. I didn't think I had to explain the joke.

inspiration for old-school cars comes from movies, notably The Transporter, Gone in Sixty Seconds and The Fast and the Furious.
I hope it's the ing original with a one hour chase.

    2L8NOW is Tim's license plate,

AWESOM 50 was the license plate for the 1950 Mercury in the movie Cobra

Interesting side note for that 1950 Mercury.... It was custom built for the movie, Stallone kept it after filming.... It got stolen and then some years later it showed up at an auction.... After some legal disputes, Stallone ended up getting it back... He still owns it as far as I know.

Typical cheesy 80's action flick, but worth the watch if only for that car. I at least can claim to have a similar shared interest with Timmy, he's got good taste in his automobiles. Those Merc's are straight up badass.

Had work done at Blackjack on my 2009 Pontiac G8 GT a few years ago but never saw him there (it was during the regular season)....

Seen him a few times at the drag strip.. that GT-R he has is a beast.
