I can understand a team like Toronto that has been down for so long doing it, but it's pathetic for the Cardinals to still be celebrating divisional les like it's the World Series, tbh.

baseball division les
celebrating more not moving
Blue Jays are winning it all tbh
Everyone in Latin America north of Brazil. And Japan.
Yeah, it is hilarious for the Cardinals, who have between 12-16 World Series les and two within the last decade, to be doing it, especially given how many division les they also have in that time. It's a holdover from a previous era. Unlike the NBA, it actually used to mean something to make the playoffs in MLB, where for most of history only 2-4 teams per season made the playoffs and many players never advanced to the playoffs in their entire careers.

Bottled water cost more then cheap French champagne.....
Disagree. If the Rangers are hitting their stride they have a great shot. Wouldn't count out the Cards or Pirates either.
Only thing that can stop Toronto is Gibbons, tbh. Other than their dumb hick of a manager, they're a balanced team with no glaring weaknesses.
I really don't like their pitching rotation tbh. Price has been a choker in the playoffs the last several seasons and ey hasn't been in the postseason yet. The rest of their pitching staff isn't really worth noting. If their bats go cold in a series they're ed.
You do it because you know the feeling doesn't last forever. Any good team can suddenly not win for 10+ years.
What have the Yankees won in the last 5 years?![]()
Exactly.
Ehh, Price used to have a bad rap for pitching poorly against the AL East too, but he's been killing it since he got traded to the Jays. This just might be his year.
Celebrating a division le like a championship seems normal to you? It's like celebrating advancing to the second round of the playoffs or something. Now advancing to the World Series, at least that makes perfect sense.
You could have at least said that "some people like to get drunk and it gives them a reason to get drunk."
Have you ever played it? Do you think you can hit a 95 mph fastball?
Yeah i never understood celebrations when you have not won the world series..
reminds me of "they all get trophies cuz everybody's a winner bull ." thats going on in this country.
"World" Series when 95% of the actual world doesn't give a
more people watch cricket
more people watch the Rugby world cup
Yeah. I hit a bug with my truck doing 95.
