Turkey WAS playing a very important role as a link between the West and Asia/ Middle East.

The country was being touted as an economic example of what can happen with cooperation and a emerging Democracy. They were growing and making peace with the Kurds (even allowing Kurdish role in government). Well that's screwed now. It's more complex than blaming their regression on Republicans. You act as if the US influences all events and long held distrust between ethnic groups. Again, oversimplification of complex problems, your MO.

Armenian guy already making assumption about who is responsible.

This could have easily been the Work of ISIS or Pro-Kurds trying to win "victim" Points.

Starting your agenda with 95 people already dead is so direspectful.

M/E was stable, the Repugs totally destabilized it, and are now retired in wealthy comfort benefiting from revisionist "memories" and speakers fees, instead of rotting in jail.

the American empire wanted hegemony over the region, with intentions to "regime change" Iraq, Syria, Iran, not to "liberate" them for democracy. American power and oil trumps democracy, everywhere (including in the USA), every time.

Sure Bush's presidency ed the ME but it was already a up. Jimmy Carter a Democrat brought the Ayatollah into power n Iran and Obama and Hillary made the mess out of Lybia and Syria and the euro refugee crisis.

Blaming I all on Republican party is ing re ed

Oh and the bombing is brutal. It was a peace rally and the demonstrator were all holding hands when they were shredded to pieces.

disgusting..Armenian guy happy 95 people are dead...That rally was composed of Moderate Muslims, Kurd Muslims and liberal and so on and was there to promote peace and understanding. Same Turkish people that are fighting for their country and you take this opportunity to stomp on what those people are trying to protect.

    Absolutely disgusting and sinnister.

They were actually getting close to recognizing some sort of role in the Armenian cleansing but now not a thought. Turkey has gone backwards. It's tough being considered a leader and possible peacemaker in certain conflicts. A country gets drawn in and takes sides, the leader becomes a head case, and suddenly all breaks lose. Turkey defecated in the very area they exist, not a good strategy.
