It's been my experience that people like this have no training in using a machete or knife in a fighting situation. I would probably have just approached the guy and first tried to talk with him and try to convince him to drop the weapon. I would probably give this less than 30 seconds before I escalate into disarmament mode. At which point, I'd most likely use a spinning back eagle kick to knock the machete from his hand.
Hm. He didn't deserve to get run over..but he did deserve to be arrested. I have no clear indication of what escalated the situation to the point in which he needed a machete and threatened "unknown" individuals.
If that was a random car he damaged to a random victim, he for sure deserved to get his ass whipped...but not ran over. Car damages are expensive, especially without insurance.

So the dude with the machete is crazy but the two drivers trying to run the guy over are perfectly sane.
And why would you keep trying to run over the guy by going backwards?
You didn't see this on the evening news because the machete
didn't have a 30 round clip on it.
It was like 3 friends playing in a sandbox game, two got vehicles and were ing with the third who could only find a melee weapon. What in the did I just watch
