    too high

    kawhi's points
manu assists (5 would be a career high)
diaw rebounds and assists (both would be the highest he's ever had on the spurs)
    anderson assists
    ray assists

    too low

    kawhi rebounds

    - I actually think the bench guys will have a career year....I'm incredibly optimistic without how they're going to play. Manu, Diaw and the bench mob are wishful stats, but we'll see..I think the bench will cover some ty nights from the starters.

    - I don't think kawhi will get that many boards with LMA and TD around.

    - 23PPG is the bold prediction here and it isn't wishful thinking.

yep Kawhi making a jump straight from 16.5 ppg to 23 ppg is ridiculous..last time i checked Pop is still coaching the team and not Tom Thiboudeau to play him 40 MPG to get those numbers..

100 Dollars..Paypal money to either ElNONO or DPG?...Going to admit a large portion of my stats, specially the bench is wishful nostalgia 2014 thinking...But I am fairly positive Kawhi will hit 20+PPG

Only possible if there are severe injury problems throughout the season.

the big question i have is Aldridge's FG%

for most of his career, he had been a pretty efficient big. often shooting between 48-51% which is pretty good for a floor spacing big (and when you factor his above average FT% it makes for a very efficient player)...

but then for the last 2 years, his FG% plummeted to the mid-40's. one would stand to reason that he's going to get better looks in the spurs system to get his FG% back closer to 50, but in the preseason it didn't really look that way

I understand that last season he was supposedly playing an injury, but it was not on his shooting hand, and it doesn't account for his similar production in 13-14. Some people will point to his 3 point shooting as a reason, but his TS% was also lower than previous years.

One thing I found when I looked up his shooting specifics was that the average distance of his shots were higher in 13-14 and 14-15 than any other year, partially explaining the efficiency dropoff. He has also largely abandoned his inside game. In his more efficient years (2009-2012) he was taking about 45-55% of his shots from within 10 feet. In the last 2 seasons, that number has dipped to about 35%

With the Spurs, I anticipate he'll take plenty of jumpers, and his floor spacing will be appreciated for sure. But I'm also not confident his FG% will get back to 50 if he keeps playing farther away from the basket. But if he's able to become a 3pt threat and knocks in about 38% of those, it should make up for it.

No Patty? Would you guys rather have Kawhi score more if it cost him some defense? We have Aldridge to score and we might have problems with defense. As of right now, I think the team might be better off with Kawhi focusing on D. My cut off point would be if Aldridge can't become more efficient (in the +48% range); then, I wouldn't mind Kawhi being the guy if he can improve is passing.

^Kawhi would have to play A LOT of PF for that to even have a chance at happening.

Kawhi should get 20 points a game, he finished the regular season with everyone wondering when Pop would let him finish a 4th quarter to get 30.

Im surprised no one expects LMA to get over 20 points a game.
