All for a lofty 1 year le window
All the picks they owe for the next 3 years:
2016 first round draft pick to Boston
Brooklyn's 2016 1st round pick to Boston [Boston-Brooklyn, 7/12/2013]
2016 second round draft pick to L.A. Clippers
L.A. Clippers have the right to swap their 2016 2nd round pick protected for selections 56-60 for Brooklyn's 2016 2nd round pick (if the L.A. Clippers' pick falls within its protected range, then the L.A. Clippers' swap right and Brooklyn's obligation to the L.A. Clippers will be extinguished) [Brooklyn-L.A. Clippers, 7/11/2012]
2017 first round draft pick to Boston
Boston has the right to swap its 2017 1st round pick for Brooklyn's 2017 1st round pick; if Boston exercises this swap right, then Boston will convey its 2017 2nd round pick to Brooklyn protected for selections 31-45 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Boston's obligation to Brooklyn will be extinguished) [Boston-Brooklyn, 7/12/2013]; this potential pick conveyance is the same as the one described in "2017 second round draft pick from Boston" on Brooklyn Credits
2017 second round draft pick to Atlanta
Brooklyn's 2017 2nd round pick to Atlanta [Atlanta-Brooklyn, 7/11/2012]
2018 first round draft pick to Boston
Brooklyn's 2018 1st round pick to Boston [Boston-Brooklyn, 7/12/2013]
2018 second round draft pick to Charlotte
Charlotte will receive the less favorable of Brooklyn's 2018 2nd round pick and Cleveland's 2018 2nd round pick and Philadelphia will receive the more favorable of these two picks (via Philadelphia's right to swap Cleveland for Brooklyn) [Cleveland-Philadelphia, 9/26/2014; Brooklyn-Philadelphia, 12/11/2014; Brooklyn-Charlotte, 6/25/2015]; this pick conveyance is the same as the one described in "2018 second round draft pick from Cleveland" on Charlotte Credits
2018 second round draft pick to Philadelphia
Philadelphia will receive the more favorable of Cleveland's 2018 2nd round pick and Brooklyn's 2018 2nd round pick and Charlotte will receive the less favorable of these two picks (via Philadelphia's right to swap Cleveland for Brooklyn) [Cleveland-Philadelphia, 9/26/2014; Brooklyn-Philadelphia, 12/11/2014; Brooklyn-Charlotte, 6/25/2015]; this pick conveyance is the same as the one described in "2018 second round draft pick from Cleveland" on Philadelphia Credits
2019 second round draft pick to Charlotte
Brooklyn's 2019 2nd round pick to Charlotte [Brooklyn-Charlotte, 6/25/2015]
2020 second round draft pick to Philadelphia
Brooklyn's 2020 2nd round pick to Philadelphia [Brooklyn-Philadelphia, 12/11/2014]
Nets are currently 0-6. Celtics should be loaded soon.
And Billy King still has a job..
that's been quite generous
Nyets
But yeah, Boston is a potential dynasty in the making.
Is the 2016 pick actually the Nets' pick though, and is it unprotected? Or is it some other pick the Nets might own from other trades?
Yes it is the Nets pick and believe it is unprotected.
It's their own pick, unprotected, and looking quite a good value right now. Their 2018th pick to Boston is also unprotected afaik lol Nets.
“Today, the basketball gods smiled on the Nets," said Nets Principal Owner Mikhail Prokhorov. "With the arrival of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, we have achieved a great balance on our roster between veteran stars and young talents. This team will be dazzling to watch, and tough to compete against."
Holy , so the Celtics essentially trade their 2017 pick for the Nets' unprotected 2016, 2017, and 2018 firsts?
All three of those will be top 5 picks, OMG Ainge raped that Russian got.
Wow, so the Celtics can get three top 5 picks while making the playoffs.
And they already have some solid guards in Smart, Bradley, and Thomas. Wonder what kind of bigmen prospects there are for 2016.
I've already discussed the top two in a thread prop. I'll see if I can find it.
Skal Labissiere has most upside. Ben Simmons is a miniature Anthony Davis/Draond Green combo. Incredible skill in slight frame, but solid length for PF.
Here's my discussion on Simmons, who's one of my favorite prospects in years, though I'm first to admit that his upside has limits. He'll need to make significant strides in his already skilled areas plus add strength to max out:

meanwhile this is the other path of pathetic front office/ownership incompetence taken by the Kings
Reminds me of the Cavs surrounding James pick. They sucked so bad at drafting.
Haywood
Diop
Wagner
James
Jackson
S.Brown
Eyenga
Jeezus what a robbery by the Celtics.Prokhorov
Skal Labisierrie is the crown of the 2016 class imo. A little better prospect than Simmons, although both look like they will be great. Labisierrie reminds me of a young Aldridge and/or Bosh.
Damn, that's awful..
I'll never forget the Dajuan Wagner hype..I was 10 years old and living in Harlem, and this dude would draw crowds every time he showed up at Rucker or for appearances, the next Iverson..
I think Boston still need a ready superstar, most preferably a Big since they have awful ones..They really should try to swing a trade for Cousins and add a couple of leadership vets around him..They won't be ready to contend but they will be dangerous to make it out of the East..With Lebron entering his decline years, that conference has no super teams and a Final appearance could be in play from next season..
Danny Ainge; rapist at large, tbh.
Thats a brutal stretch of drafting. Thats the exact opposite of the Thunder Stretch:
Durant
Green (Drafted by Boston by trade for Ray Allen)
Westbrook
Ibaka (Westbrook and Ibaka were both taken in the same draft)
Harden
Jackson
Same number of les though
Ben Simmons doesn't look like he has impressive handles or a feel for the game. Something's telling me to doubt this guy.
