    In 11 of the 12 seasons from 1999 to 2010, the Western Conference Champion was either the Spurs or the Lakers.

    And 9 times in the span, the NBA champion was either the Spurs or the Lakers. That's an amazing run. Spurs will look to continue the dominance but obviously success has passed by the Lakers.

    It has been a real fun run for both the Lakers and Spurs. While we are looking like the landscape of Fallout 4 at the moment, the Spurs have a chance to win another chip. But the battles were epic and there will be many a hall-of-famer from both sides when they've decided to call it quits.
