If only Chicago adopted California's strict gun laws. We all know how peaceful and non violent California is amirite
Yeah, maybe.
I think they should just build a huge fence around Chicago, Detroit and Florida and turn them into Max security prisons.
wow, you were quick to the shtick
it was an instant thought as as soon as I saw there was a Walmart shooting.
New Orleans and Atlanta too.
Chicago has the strictest gun control laws in the country..... You can see how well
they work for them.......
That just can't be right. People get shot all the time in Chicago.
The "gun control laws" vs "gun related crimes" argument in inner cities is fallacious (and this is coming from a gun rights person). Chicago has always had high crime, murder and such as far back as the 1800s. In that instance you cannot say gun control laws cause more gun crime or that laws in general prevent crime. They don't. They didn't prevent the sale of alcohol during prohibition, and people were shot to for that. Right now the laws don't prevent drug trafficking, pros ution or anything of the sort. The laws give the local and federal governments the legal right to extract their pound of flesh. Nothing more, nothing less. Gun control laws are not about controlling guns, but about controlling revenue.
