    Surprised nobody is talking about this. Schayes was one of the best in his era and hot rod can probably be a multiple all star in today's ultra soft league.

    He was an unlettered backwoods kid, he didn't know what he was getting into at Tulane. He was a terrific player and a solid citizen for the Cavaliers. RIP Hot Rod.
