The Lakers brand is sullied beyond belief right now. No way a high profile FA comes to play with this dumpster fire. Their best bet is to hope and pray they get Simmons, hope he pans out, hope the Lakers turn into a decent 35-45 win team in the next few years, and then maybe they'll attract an FA.

crushed by 40 ...Philly-level of awfulness..Even with Kobe out, you just the see limited upside of the Lakers young crew..even the flashes are so far and few in between..Randle busthood is more certified the more you watch him..if i'm LA, I would be putting anyone on the table from this bunch if it gets me something like an established star in some package..
