Dude can flat out play. Spurs need to find 12-15 mins a game for him at least.

Spurs pick up a random dude overseas that would instantly be the Lakers best player if he was on their team.![]()
Big man rotation as I see it:
1) LMA
2) Duncan
3) Bobo
4) Boban
5) Bonbon
Injured List: West
He's looking more and more comfortable to the NBA style of play. This guy has potential to be a real beast in the paint.
He wasn't Random. 3x Serbian League MVP, Serbian Finals MVP (playing w/ a fractured ankle) and Euroleague MVP (both last year), isn't some random dude. The Lakers, Piston, Raptors, Barcelona etc all made offers to the Boban. Its was rumored that his highest offer was like 4-5mil a year. He just wanted to come to the Spurs because of the cultural and he felt it the best place for him to transition to the NBA. Said this in an interview after signing with the the Spurs.
frankly, he was as random as they come. His growth is the most random I have ever seen. Never played meaningful minutes with Serbia, played with an underdog in euroleague and managed to get himself into the euroleague first team. I've never heard of anyone talking about him throughout the years and I'm very familiar with serbians, slovenians and croatians. I was not surprised in the slightest with Dragič, Mirotič, Hezonja, Šarič, Jokič and the likes. This guy? Never heard of him until the spurs got him on their radar. And the euroleague mvp was nemanja Bjelica. It's amazing and exiting to see him grow so fast at age 27, it's the very definitiion of random.
Boban was one of those guys that didn't start honing his craft until late in his career. He went undrafted like 4 years ago as he was extremely raw. But he was the best C in Europe last year, so it's not like the Spurs just pick some random dude. Especially last year, he showcased his skills. He is a self made player, much like Kawhi. I wouldn't call him random in a sense that the Spurs just took a flyer on him, but yes, he is random on how fast he progressed since going undrafted a few years ago.
He said he always wanted to play in the NBA and I guess not getting drafted or signed afterwards just lit a fire under him.
