I watched the first two episodes of the series, and god damn those surgery scenes when they keep killing their patients are hard to watch.
Why does everyone wear such little hats in that era though?

Probably due to the need of cocaine for medic purposes during the War vs the Spanish for the Philippines. I've seen the first season--haven't watched the second just yer.

What was the story with Barrow's hands? He said he had given himself dozens of x-rays, so I guess he's basically killed himself with all that radiation and he doesn't know it yet? Were early x-ray machines much more intense than is commonly used now?
I loved seeing Cleary really was the piece of we thought he was when first introduced. LOL Thack giving a play by play of his last moments and Lucy and Henry both going MJ to end the series.
Maalox reccomended this show to me last year but that actress makes it even better.

Finale was really good, hopefully it goes 1 more season, but wouldn't be surprised if it's over, tbh..
It can't go another season with Thackery dead and Edwards done as a surgeon. It wrapped up so cleanly and I'd be really disappointed to see them try to milk another season out of this. I'm glad it ended with such a captivating episode.

I thought there'd be a third season for sure but knowing that the show runner and Owen himself won't be returning is a huge blow.
But apparently Cinemax ordered a script for season 3 episode 1.
I doubt I'll watch with just random uninteresting characters left.
Yeah, that's horrible news since every character had his/her storyline pretty neatly wrapped up. They'll really this up if they try to turn Berty into Thackery.

That was damn good. Then lighting himself on fire in surgery! Haha. Hope the show comes back. Very good show. Was supposed to be only 2 seasons tho.
