I understand Mikhail trying to talk up his investment and everything, but the Nets may be at the absolute bottom of the heap as far as potential goes. Their current players suck, their developing players suck, their cap situation sucks, and they've given up nearly all future assets until 2020 in order to put themselves in such a sucky situation.
, even the 76ers and their "process" looks promising compared to the future in Brooklyn.
All the Nets Brass (including Prokhorov [sp?]) are supposed to be at the game tonight, so I expect the Nets to give it everything they've got.
We should win it anyway (and easily), but I hope we don't ice-up the starters' knees too early. I don't expect the Nets to win, but I don't expect them to fold early or easily, either.
losing to the Nets would really be pathetic... If you watched any of their games you would know they don't know how to play basketball.
