He is not worth the max, tbh..
It seem like they are intent on proving that he replaceable by journeymen (Brandon Rush) & that he isn't as good as he thinks by using his injury as an excuse to take away his starting spot.![]()
He got injured in gm 24 or so but Luke Walton has said he won't get his starting job back b/c Brandon Rush is playing well in his spot despite Barnes not being on minute restrictions since he came back.![]()
He has been hurt and while a huge key for them last year ...they seem to be fine without him ...
No he is not worth max but yes he is worth a lot to my lakers who suck ....
his not a franchise player .... why give him max when u can probably get pieces for him in a sign n trade deal...
gsw bench isnt that great either, they need a few pieces also...
They wont trade him not with a good le shot. If they repeat sure they will try to get him to stay at a hometown discount. If they lose and domeone offers max i think they let him walk.
Yup. I thought multiple teams have done the same.
The Pelicans are actually not trying anymore to svae them 30 million dollars next year. Davis losses 30 million dollars if he fails to make the All-NBA team.
Kawhi had 155 votes last year and woud have made third team if he was listed at SG-SF. I blieve he would have been qualified for a bigger deal had he made the allnba team or allstar last year...not sure.
But i know teams do this in purpose to save money.
barnes is laker bound and he's gonna blow up, you watch. and at $21 million, he's gonna be a steal
