Lowe mentioned on his podcast that he's been on the block for ages and they'd be lucky to get a couple of seconds for him at this point. Too bad they have no need for a guy like Ray (would be cut) and the 2nd is gone. Doubt Pop goes with just two PGs anyway, especially given Patty isn't really one.

    Aren't SA already going with 2 pgs anyway - ray doesn't play - ?

Pop has always had a third, even it was a Chris Quinn or Jacque Vaughn. Though remember what it was like trotting Gary Neal out there at PG once Hill was dealt? I'd rather play Manu and Simmons/Anderson at PG than Ray. Green can guard the PG if needed.

kind of what I thought - after Tony and Patty - you still have Manu then Simmons/Anderson.

He's almost 33 and has never played for a true contender (except OKC in 2012-2013). He'd probably welcome a trade to a good team with open arms tbh.

He's a scorer that cannot defend. Character guy, but high priced.

Might be the only legit 3 pointer left in the market that can be had for nothing. Martin played within his role during his short stint in OKC.

I wouldnt mind him as an experiment. Stick Mccolum to the D-League. Not sure about his contract situation.though.

    Maybe the wolves waive him

He's making 7 mill, no way to obtain him without giving up rotation players unless he's bought out.

I'd take him for the fact he can be gotten for cheap and fills a shooting need (albeit he might be more of a volume shooter). Not sure how the Spurs would match salaries without giving someone important up, however.

Flip refused to trade him for anything less than 1st rd picks although he was on the blocks every season, maybe Sam Mitc might have other ideas.

He's got another year on his deal. Buyout isn't likely.
