In Charlotte tonight to take on a 39-30 Hornets squad that has won 9 of their last 11, but is coming off a home loss to the Nuggets. The Hornets are much improved this season and with the Spurs coming off an emotional win 2 nights ago, this has the makings of a potential trap game. Hope they come out focused and ready. Everyone is expected to be available for both the Spurs and Hornets. Game will be aired on NBATV. No excuses. Let's get it.

Didn't the Spurs send Boban and Simmons to the d-league yesterday? If so it seems they aren't planning on resting guys. There's no reason to rest Tim again, and NC is like a second home to Green. If anyone sat, I could see Diaw or Parker, but they are both coming off impressive games and I think momentum for those two would do them more good than time off.

    Comparing Simmons to Duncan?
    http://grantland.com/features/god-loves-cleveland/

go to the end of the article where Bill gets to his point that Magic/Bird/MJ and Lebron are basketball geniuses and Tim/Kobe/Shaq are great but not on their level. Then he states Anthony Davis is more likely to be great like Tim but not a genius like Lebron.

Not to mention where he says Michael Jordan maximized human achievement on the same level as Ghandi and Einstein. This may be worst Bill Simmons article ever. He has the capacity to be the worst tool ever.

Hey Guys! This will be my last game for a while as I'll be on a writers retreat in the UK until about April 8th or 10th, and not have regular access to the internet (especially at night when the games are on). The whole point is to isolate yourself and get some work done. So I won't be on here during game time.

So, its up to you. We can dump the good-luck Melissa tradition silly as it is or someone else can do it while I am gone. Batmanu20, Spurs10, $pursDynasty, SupremeGuy, or any other member of the "Melissa Appreciation Club" can take over short term or permanently.
