Thats part of the reason why I can't stand watching NCAA most of the time. I just happen to catch 2 games, usually they are cringeworthy with the execution.

This. I don't know who taught these guys to try and throw the ball at the defenders feet but it resulted in about three dunks with less than 2 second going off the clock. All you have to do is chuck the ball as high as you can to the other side of the court and let 6 - 10 seconds come off the clock everytime.
