what is your favorite rap battle/feud and who do you came with the best diss track? there are so many songs and don't really want to post all of them so i'll post a few and you can contribute by posting your favorite diss track.
i know the obvious answers might be "hit em up", "ether" or "takeover" but my all time fave is " wit dre day". i'm a huge westcoast music fan and grew up during the deathrow era. the production is ridiculous and dre n snoop managed to compliment each other perfectly. not to mention the video was HILARIOUS
to me its also one of the more personal disses considering the history between dre and eazy. shame that they never got to fully end their differences before eazy died. oh and eazy's "real mutha in g's" was a great comeback as well. tim dogg and luke also got caught in the crossfire of this epic battle of west coast giants.
Honorable mentions:
young jeezy gucci mane diss "stay strapped"
50 cent ja rule diss "back down" Ja was never the same after this
dj quick mc eiht diss "dollaz n sense"

Pac's death took away the effectiveness of this one
I loved 2nd Round KO by Canibus...but LL came back REAL hard (even though LL was a for instigating the beef).
Props on the contributions.
Who was Masta Ace dissing? was it just a general diss? I see you like that boom bap style. not really my cup of tea but he had some nice bars.
Long kiss goodnight is GOAT. i played that album nonstop. i think about how much better the songs would have been without puff's adlibs.
yea LL shocked a lot of people with his canibus diss lol. did you see canibus pull out a notepad at his last rap battle?
How has no one mentioned No Vaseline?
and the weak NWA track that prompted this reply
Lol I thought Mariah Carey played Eminem hard when she forced him to panic and basically make a rap diss on himself.
this wasn't even fair fam smh.
Nellyville did go hard tho![]()
i like Em but he only beefed with women, gays and boybands.
Ace dissed some scrub named Boogieman and also dissed The High & Mighty for some reason.
'I'm flamin gats, aimin at, these in
maniacs, put my name in raps, what part the
game is that? Like they hustle backwards
I smoke Blackwoods and Dutchies, ya can't touch me.'
Fire.
I have to watch this Canibus video, lol...

Luke destroying Kid & Play![]()
never knew Luke had beef with kid n play and i didn't know kool moe dee was a serious rhyme spitter until i saw a BEEF do entay. wild wild west was all i knew about him.
I'm a big 2 Live Crew fan, but WTF was Luke thinking dissing Rakim on As Nasty as They Wanna Be? I wish Rakim would have responded, as there isn't anyone in the history of hip hop with his lyrical skills. Could you imagine this dude ting all over Skywalker?
Lol how you gonna beef with kid n play? Come on.
Rakim was the . Still got that album in my car.
is this all that black people got to worry about? so petty and juvenile
E-I-H-T, now should I continue/Yeah you left out the G, cause the G ain't in you![]()
One verse is devoted to The High and Mighty, who apparently dissed him at a show, and the other verse is dissing Boogieman, who accused Ace of biting one of his tracks and had dissed him first....
Prob mad the master could rip him a new one without even trying to cuss
This isn't a thread without Roxanne Shante:
Best diss recorded between washer cycles![]()
I was just about to say this one...But Cube got beat down in one that might be even better...by a dude who doesn't normally do that type of ..
because common was always writing ass tracks like the light![]()
