    Backe vs Carpenter

Since Backe has been back from his injury, he has been pitching bad ass. We can win the game tonight.

BTW, havent seen an Astros game for a while but watching tonight it seems the gameplan from last year's NLCS is the same.

Hit and run and run up the pitch count on the starting pitcher, then eat the middle relief for B L & D.

Reggie Sanders 2 homers tonight, looks like hes getting back on track.

Carpenter 5 innings 3 earned runs, should be 0 earned, and 1 on the board had Reggie hustled and caught that ball to get out of the inning.

    Cardinals are lookin good.

Bats are warming up, Larry Walker is hitting 300 since his return.

Reggie Sanders 2 homers and a double in 2 games against a playoff team.

Things are lookin betta in STL.

BTW, kick the Cubs ass tommarow through Sunday, I want the Cardinals to play the Padres and pretty much beat them playin 5 innings.

Was that a weak assed attempt at home by Charles Gipson or what???

With 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th, you have to lower your shoulder and hammer the catcher. You either knock the ball out, or you get a concussion, one or the other. Pussy, pussy, pussy.

Of course I caught it, I'm implying that it's a ridiculous point to make. That was probably the only two game series the Cardinals played all year. I'm sure there would've been a couple other sweeps in there if you only counted two games in a row.

Nice try on the insult though, buddy.

EDIT: I'm assuming he's not a redbird fan bragging about never being swept in a real series this year.

You never implied , or you could've added that to your post.

Nice try on the insult? hah.... wtf does that really mean? An insult is an insult either way, you can't try at it.

And I'm not a cardinal fan, but someone can't admit you got swept in a 2 game series.

I'm an Astros fan. And learn to read between the lines. Or look up what implied means (hint: it doesn't mean saying something explicitly). Tool.

Here's another one for you. If you attempt to insult someone, but mess it up because your reading comprehension is that of a sixth-grader, that's trying to insult someone. And failing. Hence, you can "try" to insult someone without actually insulting them.

The insulting apparently worked since you're trying to insult back. Then again, an insult is an insult... where in the world would you say I tried if I said " you." It's an insult, you don't need to accept it as an insult to be one.

    Tool? hah
