If the Spurs are able to go into next season with
Aldridge - Robinson - Lee
Gasol - Dedmon
That's a pretty salty front-line with a mix of proven stars and unknown potential.
The SPURS are supposedly the favorites to sign Thomas Robinson I tweeted Javary Young about the possibility and he told me stay tuned so hopefully that means they are just finalizing he's contract Robinson would be a great addition would make our bench even stronger and more athletic

Don't like him, watched him in college and at the start of his career, He has issues with his temper and tries to play big but at 6'8" he's undersized when surrounded by bigs. I don't think his temperament fits with what the team looks for. Pop likes guys who are " over themselves" this guy is not one of them.
He's a good rebounder and he played alongside Aldrige in Portland, that may be one of the reasons that the team is looking at him.
But I personally think he'll be a bad choice.

I'd hardly say that's any indication of the Spurs being on the verge of signing him![]()
Yea it probably stemmed from this, either way it doesn't seem like much. Stein/Woj haven't put anything out yet lol
Jinx it in which direction?
I hope it jinxes it, not a big fan of TR.
Hmmm, if the Red Rocket is the other option, I might be swayed though
Never underestimate the power of the jinx
Or it could be something his agent started in order to make him look more desirable/less difficult. Like, "how difficult could he be if the Spurs are interested?"
I am leaning towards this. I don't see any space available with the David Lee signing unless there is going to be some kind of dump trade in the works.
You know in the back of POPS mind the Red Rocket is an option and there l. He can't help it man.
The Spurs only have one roster spot left. I'm not sure I'd take Robinson over Garino or Forbes, or even Stokes or Arcidiacono.
No, he looks like a hothead aka ¨Raymond Green¨ a team cruiser 5 teams in 5 seasons.
This upcoming season is his fifth, which will be six teams in five seasons.
Chingao![]()
I agree with that too. Regardless of Robinson's merits, the spot that was up for grabs is the spot that Lee agreed to take.
I would like the last spot to be for a perimeter player too.
To be honest, the Spurs need a big man or two who plays with aggression.
But I really don't see Robinson kicking other players in the nuts or post pics of his trouser snake on Snapchat.
If true, it's hard to believe they'd give him a full guarantee. The last thing they need is another athletic big that can't shoot.
If he does get a full guarantee though, it'll signal that Anderson will again primarily play small forward and that Lee will be the primary backup at power forward.
On a team that needed to add shooting, they'd have even less than last season.
Better power forward than vending machine head
Matt Bonner Curse. He will resign.
And he's still looking for a contract in an offseason that's been full of eye-popping contracts...
You make it sound like a snack.
First agreement of a Diaz post. Do I get a spur?
He cant be good, and Spurs dont need to waste time with a problem child.
But Raymond has some game thats why he has a career with the Duds, this dude is like Nate Robinson... uncoachable.
No matter how many times I read that name.. it still cracks me up.![]()
