Millions of Bernie Sanders’ donors may now have legal recourse against the Democratic primaries they saw as rigged.
Beck & Lee Trial Lawyers, a civil litigation firm based in Miami, Florida, is announcing the filing of a class action lawsuit against the DNC early next week, alleging fraud and collusion with the Hillary Clinton campaign. While roughly one hundred people have officially signed on as plaintiffs, partner Jared Beck told US Uncut that thousands of requests for legal paperwork have come in within the last 48 hours.
Damn.
The causes of action mentioned in the article sound dubious to me, at first blush. But they'll still put pressure on the DNC. And the exposure is probably not something they want so close to the election, so there's a possibility of a nice settlement.

Dem party chief won't speak at convention
One unidentified source told CNN that the decision reached Saturday by party officials is meant to “keep the peace.”
"She's been quarantined," another Democrat told the network, referring to the Florida congresswoman, who is expected gavel the convention in Philadelphia in and out.
The development follows the leak of internal DNC emails last week that show an effort to undermine Sen. Bernie Sanders’s challenge to Hillary Clinton.
Wasserman Schultz in a few emails specifically criticizes Sanders’s campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, calling him a “damn liar” in one.
Weaver told ABC News on Saturday that “someone needs to be held accountable” for what was revealed in the leak.
“We spent 48 hours of public attention worrying about who in the Trump campaign was going to be held responsible for the fact that some lines of Mrs.
Obama’s speech were taken by Mrs. Trump,” Weaver said, referencing the plagiarism controversy over Melania Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention.
"Someone in the DNC needs to be held at least as accountable as the Trump campaign.”

I think this could be big for Trump. Why do you think otherwise?
It definitely plays into trump's narrative that the system is rigged, but the fact that the Sanders and Clinton camps are aligned in defeating trump diminishes the fallout.

It wasn't an accident that Trump used that expression several times.
