Starts about 23:40 then gets into it. Stays on Kaawhi to about 43. Nearly 20 minute discussion on many Kawhi-centric topics. Good stuff.
"A willingness to crush your skull every chance Pop says its okay to do."
Thorpe says Kawhi is resting on help defense and Pop is okay with it because he's so important to offense. It wasn't a slight, it was a "pacing" point.

They spoke about Leonard doing a 26 inch vertical during the combine which wouldn't be great for a high school player.
Then went on to say he wasn't great at any one skill, couldn't shoot, and went to SDSU because no great school wanted him.
....AND 6 years later is a top 5 player in the world.
That's a uva payoff.
A 26-inch vertical??? He seems to get up higher than that these days.
Look at Tom Brady getting selected in the 6th round at 199. Not comparing the two but getting selected top 10 or 15 doesn't guarantee anything.
