Home Opener vs the 0-2 Pelicans-- first in 20 years without The Franchise: Timothy Theodore Duncan.
But Tim apparently stayed up to watch the Kings game and clown Sean in his text message. I wonder if he shows up in the arena tonight..
Oh Tim is cruel!Go Spurs tonight in the home opener!

Nice..I cant imagine myself caring for a super late game as a retired millionaire though...Timmy must be bored as
Pop being Pop early
San Antonio Spurs spurs
now INJURY REPORT - Manu Ginobili & Tony Parker (rest) and Danny Green (left quad strain) are out for tonight's Spurs-Pelicans game.
Dejoun might get some minutes tonight
Laprovittola to start and Bertans instead of Manu with Simmons handling the ball for the bench would be my guess.
Does NBATV work on League Pass during the free preview week?
happy parker is out. too bad manu is though.
Pop with nice little F you to the fans by resting TP and Manu for the first home game. WTF?
This is great news for those that want to see more players get some burn.
With a game tomorrow, makes sense the old heads are resting. Hopefully the young guys aren't rested
Yup I'm now instantly more excited about this game. I actually think Patty will start since he closes games with the starters and then let Nico and Murray split time for back up. With...
Actually I have no ideas what pop will do.![]()
Glad the bench gets to flourish tonight. Sucks LaPussy will probably start though
Parker missing this game for "rest" after being completely useless for the first 2 games while getting ed at by Pop multiple times makes me wonder if Pop is sending him a message.
Rest in the home opener, WTF!
...C'mon!
I'm starting to think Tony needs his own unit like Manu, and maybe if Manu weren't here he would lead the bench. Patty firs in much better with the starters. May be the missing ingredient tbh. Imagine Tony vs bench players. He could get by based off experience alone. I don't we are at this point but I think it's one of those things where he stays long enough to become the villain.
Woot rookie night in the first home game. .... I love you Pop!!!!
Just being humorous: I know you all will miss me but I will have to DVR this game and watch it tomorrow.
Pretty confident it's a win though!!!

Resting the remaining two of the Big 3 in the home opener is surprising, really.
At the same time...maybe Pop really is ready to embrace the new era.
An insane move and he deserves for it to blow up in his face. If he wanted to do this tomorrow, I still wouldn't like it (one, fine; but their rest games should typically be staggered), but I'd get it. The home opener, against a bottom feeder, is not the time for this. They need to make sure they win the games they should, especially with how important the 1 seed will be.
This!
Murray, Forbes, Laprovittola and Bertans!
tonight's a glimpse of the future spurs. no td, no manu, no parker.
