cancer is a man.. Leukemia/pancreas type are both the worst of them all; it is like you get to witness your own slow death in dozens months or so....
Sucks to see him go, RIP.
But also let's be real. Dude was overrated and had to resort to gimmicky bull to get attention.
Ima have to disagree on the overrated part. Have you seen some of these other ass clowns try to do the in game interviews? Sager was a pro. Some of these wannabes can't speak proper English and are incredibaly awkward.
Sager knew when to shut up, but wasn't boring. Loss of nba guys talk, but don't say anything, and the other sideline reporters that take those dumb in game interviews take them too seriously.
Yeah sometimes I can't believe it when a coach actually gives a detailed answer. It's like pop conditioned me to just watch the ing game and not rely on words. Sager would just take it stride and be like ok there you go folks. Now it's some glorified porn star or a wannabe reporter getting the facts for the people's. Whatever, it's supposed to be entertainment and that's what sager brought.
They should just pre tape those interviews and pick which b roll shot is most appropriate:-" we need more effort", rebounds, sometimes you just make shots, we need to contest, our guys just don't want to win, LeBron is just too good, etc
