tbh this has impressed me. When he is on the court philly can hang in there against almost anybody, his impact is as real as it gets, also stats per minute are crazy for a rookie coming from 2 full-injury seasons tbh, who started playing at 15... kinda crazy when you think about it tbh. Imo I'm starting to think the old rumors were true, that hinkie sidelined him a couple of season to maintain max tank efficiency

The guy is good. And not in a statpad way, he actually makes a positive impact on the team.

I saw the Hornets game the other night. He definitely has a star presence about himself on both ends of the court. The Hornets were clearly intimidated of his defense on several plays of the game.I remember whenever he was in the game that's when the Sixers went on their runs. His FG percentage could get better but I won't hold it against him since he's only a rookie. I think pretty soon within a year two he will consistently shoot 50 percent or above. Offensively he's very fluid and his moves are not mechanical like the other bigs you see in this league. He definitely has superstar potential and a chance to be a dominant player.

Is he really listed at 7'2" today ? I mean, he was listed at "just" around 7' back then as a draftee out of college. Seems just as tall as Hibbert in that game though.

I need to watch this guy play more. I tried watching a few of their games at the start of the season and he looked really good in his limited minutes. He was the only reason I tuned in to those games.

He does look significantly taller than Okafor.

his frame is dwight howardesque, if this even remotely hits the weights/juices properly he's gonna get huge tbh.

It doesn't make sense for him to bulk up too much tbh
    1. Health issues
    2. His mobility for someone of his size is a big part of his game
    3. In today's NBA he's already the biggest guy on the court pretty much every game

Became one of my favorite players this year. He's just fun to watch man, and his personality is contagious. Funny guy, seems like he could get along with anyone.

Simmons is supposed to make his return next week according to rumors, they bumped a game for the sizes prime time slot. I would love to see these two stay healthy and play together for a long time. NBA just lacks teams you care to watch much of tbh.
