I didn't see the response since I turned off the speech after Trump started selling Price's healthcare plan about 45 minutes in (his plan on healthcare was the main reason I was tuning in). It was far and away the best speech I have ever heard Trump give though. I imagine his approval rating should increase after that. Complete opposite of that rant he gave a couple of weeks ago where he did nothing but cry about the media.
Still, Trump was full of ing talking about unifying the country. I hope the Democrats filibuster every single thing he tries to do (other than an infrastructure bill) just like the GOP did to Obama from 2010-2016.

I didn't listen to the response since it really doesn't matter what is said but I just thought it was odd. Usually the party out of power puts forward people who represent the (possible) future of their party.

Trump clearly stated he supports a fair media. He can handle a bad story as long as it is true. Unfortunately, many are very dishonest. Maybe he once accidentally say the press. But his intentions were after those dishonest articles.
