Texas woman in midst of modeling shoot when struck by train

NAVASOTA, Texas — The mother of a 19-year-old Texas woman says her daughter was killed when she was struck by a train while having photos taken of her on the tracks in a bid to launch a modeling career.
Hakamie Stevenson told The Eagle newspaper that her daughter, Fredzania Thompson, attended Blinn College in Bryan, Texas, but wanted to put her education on hold to begin modeling.
Authorities say Thompson was standing between two sets of tracks Friday in Navasota when a BNSF Railway train approached.
She moved out of the way of the train but was apparently unaware that a Union Pacific train was coming in the opposite direction on the other tracks and was struck.
The person who was taking photos of Thompson was not hurt.
Navasota is about 60 miles northwest of Houston.

I would definitely look hard at the photographer. Need to do a full tox-screen on the victim. Also they need to check the fetus to see if the DNA matches Earl's.

Well...it seems like the photographer did. Supposedly, she saw one of the trains coming. If you see one train coming, and are trying to avoid it, how the do you not have enough sense to get far away. As opposed to going to another track.

Moved out of the way of the 1st train.
Then did not see/hear the 2nd train coming. Allegedly.

Could the noise from Train #1 be enough to drown out Train #2?

And also, I'm assuming they were facing opposite ways. So the photographer would have eyes on one track and the "model" would have eyes on the other.
